OBJECTIVE

NanoSpain, Spanish Nanotechnology Network, promotes the exchange of knowledge between Spanish groups working in different fields related to Nanotechnology and Nanoscience increasing collaboration among universities, research institutions and industry.

PURPOSES

• Promoting the exchange of knowledge between Spanish groups working in different fields related to Nanotechnology and Nanoscience.

• Increasing collaboration among universities, research institutions and industry.

• Providing a frame to researches where show the outcome of research trough a web site and multidisciplinary meetings.

• Publicise new initiatives.

• Enabling technology transfer.

• Promoting industrial involvement in NanoSpain activities.

• Recognize priority scientific areas, impelling technological application to define the Spanish objectives for international market.

• Establishing successful relationships with european initiatives, as Excellence Networks, and other international institutions.

• Build a Spanish source of information related to Nanotechnology, with:

• Database with research groups and industries belonging to network.

• Disseminate results of researching, reports and effects of European Union Projects, patents, etc.

• Periodical newsletter with information about conferences, workshops, employment, grants, etc
